Through the Department of Health and Wellness, the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) multi-sport courses are offered each year. All the Multi Sport courses can be taken taken in the classroom format throughout Nova Scotia. The Competition Introduction and Development Modules are also offered  through the NCCP Web Based Home Study program.

Currently all sports are going through changes to their coaching programs. As part of this evolution some sports have integrated the multi-sport modules with the sport-specific components (requiring their coaches only take the sport-specific courses). In addition to the Multi Sport modules the NCCP has offers Professional Development workshops have been developed by the Coaching Association of Canada to enhance your coaching ability and to enable you to provide a high standard of sport coaching for your athletes.
